My name is Justin J. Salazar-Torrez, I was born and raised in The Beautiful Española Valley and graduated from Española Valley High. I also attended Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, where I graduated with an Associates of Applied Sciences. My wife is Deserae and together we have 3 children; Marissa, Aryah and Xavier. My passion has always been servanthood. Over the last 14 years I have been involved in the funeral industry, taking care of and guiding families during one of their most difficult times in one’s life. Currently I am a Technician at Los Alamos National Laboratory, a funeral director at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory and serving as a City Councilor District 4 in Española. I am excited as I pursue this journey to become your next State Representative in District 40 (Colfax, Mora, Rio Arriba and San Miguel Counties).
